Elvia Delgado
LPC-Associate
I work with teens, college students, individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life, offering support to overcome anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns, low self-esteem, relational issues, and trauma. As a first-generation American of Mexican descent, I am deeply passionate about breaking the stigma around seeking counseling, especially in the Spanish-speaking community. Fluent in Spanish, I am dedicated to making mental health support accessible to those who only speak Spanish.
I offer a safe, supportive space where clients can express themselves openly, feel heard, and experience validation. Together, we’ll explore strategies to move forward with mindfulness and self-compassion. My approach integrates the Bowen Family Systems model and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while remaining adaptable to meet each individual’s unique needs. I take great joy in empowering others to break through barriers, enhance communication, and reach their goals. I provide clients with practical tools that foster self-reflection, personal responsibility, confidence, and a growth mindset.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Counseling from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin. I am currently an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Lauren Jones, LPC-S. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, creating art, listening to music, exercising, and spending quality time with my family.
